Healthcare Workers' Compensation Self-Insurance Fund (HWCF) is designed exclusively for the needs of Alabama healthcare providers. Sponsored by the Alabama Hospital Association, we strive to provide a stable workers’ compensation market for healthcare and healthcare related service providers which are licensed by the State of Alabama.

At HWCF, our underwriting team is comprised of experienced professionals who have the knowledge and dedication necessary to assist with varying classes of risk for healthcare companies of all sizes.

HWCF’s goal is to be responsive to our members’ needs, to encourage each participant’s involvement in the claims process, and to provide quality claims services in a timely manner.
Prevention
HWCF members qualify for the no-cost services of our Loss Control Consultant. This consultant is a Licensed Professional who works with our members to reduce losses.
